Hello from Disney World!

Sometimes, certain attractions will be unavailable for maintenance and refurbishment. Here at AllEars, we keep you posted on all those closures! So today, we’re bringing you a refurbishment update on all the attractions that will be unavailable from May 24th to 30th 2021.
Magic Kingdom Refurbishments
Walt Disney World Railroad
The Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed for the last 2 years, while construction on TRON: Lightcycle Run takes place. That work is currently blocking the train’s path!

Now, TRON construction is reportedly delayed, which delays the Railroad’s reopening, too. Disney hasn’t announced an official timeline for these projects, but we’ll let you know when they do!

The Hall of Presidents
Over at the Hall of Presidents, an audio-animatronic for President Joe Biden is being installed. This refurbishment is pretty typical — the show closes for this addition each time a new president is elected!

Again, Disney hasn’t keep announced a reopening date. But we’ll keep you posted!

Main Street Confectionery
If you’re in the mood for some sweet treats, you’ll have to skip Main Street Confectionery for now. It’s currently undergoing refurbishment! And Disney has not yet stated when it will reopen.

You can get your sugar rush at Main Street Cinema in the meantime. They’re currently stocking all of the Confectionery’s wares!

Disney World Resort Refurbishments
There are 2 major construction projects taking place at Disney’s hotels! The first is at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, where the entryway, lobby, and monorail station are being refurbished. The guest rooms are also being redone, with a new Moana-inspired theme. They’ll open this July, and you can book your stay now!

Nearby, the Main Tower Guest Rooms are being refurbished at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. These rooms are currently unavailable, but the construction shouldn’t affect your visit otherwise!

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about exactly what changes are being made here.
