We may still be awaiting an reopening date announcement for the Disneyland Resort and subsequently an opening date for the new Avengers Campus expansion at Disney California Adventure, we’ve been able to catch a few sneak peeks over the last couple of months!

We got a first look at the actual ride vehicles that will be used in the attraction, and now we have a glimpse at how Spider-Man himself will be integrated into the ride (and got his reaction of the ride, too!).
Disney just released a video of none other than Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland, getting a preview of the attraction as well as some behind-the-scenes footage of him filming content for the ride!

According to Tom Holland, “Peter Parker has started an initiative called WEB…and he is giving a presentation on this new piece of tech that they invented…and something goes wrong! And he needs everybody to help him out to save the day.”

It sounds like part of what goes awry is that WEB’s Spider-Bots, which were made available for purchase ahead of the land’s opening in Downtown Disney, are stuck in a replication loop, and guests must join Spider-Man to defeat them all! The ride uses the latest technology to recognize body gestures and movement, allowing you to “sling webs from your wrists, just like Spider-Man.”

After getting to experience a preview of the ride itself, Tom Holland says that it was the most he has ever felt like Spider-Man! That’s some high praise if we do say so ourselves!

You can check out the video of this behind-the-scenes preview below!
