There is a lot happening lately at the Happiest Place on Earth! From new lands to refurbishments on classic attractions, both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure have certainly been keeping busy!

So, let’s check in on the progress of everything happening at the California Disney parks!
Snow White’s Scary Adventures Closure
First up, we’re stopping by Snow White’s Scary Adventures which is currently undergoing a lengthy refurbishment to add new effects, new scenes, and a completely refreshed exterior.

Not only are there a ton of Fantasy-themed construction barriers surrounding the building, but there is also a massive scrim showing concept art of the updated exterior. And of course, you can get a sneak peek of what’s coming to the ride with some images posted on the barriers.

King Arthur’s Carrousel
Just across the way are even more of those thematic barriers for King Arthur’s Carrousel. To entertain guests over here, they’ve posted signage about the history of the ride starting with Disneyland’s opening day in 1955.

You can check out pictures of the ride throughout its history, and find out about some of the inspiration behind different iterations.

The current refurbishment is meant to freshen up the hand-carved horses and add in some new sheet panels. All this so that this historic attraction can be preserved for the ages!

Grizzly River Run
Moving over to Disney California Adventure, we checked in on the refurbishment over at Grizzly River Run in Grizzly Peak. This routine closure is set to get the high-maintenance water ride in ship-shape for the warmer months. We love that they’re calling the construction “Park Beautification.”

Avengers Campus
And you didn’t think we’d give you a Disneyland Construction Update without checking in on Avengers Campus (opening this summer), did you? You can see that the stylized buildings are really starting to come along!

We wonder what those rooftops are for! Could it be for PYM Test Kitchen? OR perhaps the WEB ride? We’ll have to wait and see to know for sure!

And there you have it! That’s our roundup of construction around Disneyland. We’ll be checking back for progress in the park soon so keep an eye out for another update.
