I've Seen Some Seriously WEIRD Disney Souvenirs…and This Might Be My New Favorite

If you want to chat about weird Disney souvenirs, we’ve got a few stories.

From strange little troll figures in EPCOT to popcorn buckets that talk back to you (and might freak you out when you forget to turn them off, so they start speaking in the middle of your lunch break — not that I would know anything about that 😳), we thought we’d seen it all. But now, we’re questioning that stance, because there’s a new Disney souvenir that has our whole team scratching our heads.

Tell me, WHAT DA HECK IS THAT?! According to Disney, it’s the Judy Hopps Pom Pom Flair Bag Charm. But to me, it looks more like a toy a cat would play with.

What is its purpose? Is it designed to make me sneeze? (I think it would be effective in that endeavor.) Where is the FACE?! I have so many questions here.

The only indication that it’s Zootopia-related is the tiny Police Department charm. The bunny feet and the ears just make it look downright scary (don’t make eye contact with the disembodied toes, you guys!). I know that typically you can slap mouse ears on anything and call it a Mickey-themed, but Disney…that does NOT work for every character!

It’s definitely unique and quirky. Now the question is — will the Zootopia fans actually buy it? Bag charms are all the rage these days, but they don’t usually look like, well, this.
