Thanksgiving is just a couple of days away, but let’s be honest, some of you have already been getting into the Christmas spirit. So, let’s talk Christmas at Disneyland!

The holiday season has already started at the happiest place on Earth. The Festival of the Holidays is underway, decorations are up, and Christmas cheer is filling the park. There’s still more to come, as Disney has officially confirmed dates for Disneyland’s Candlelight Processional — one of our favorite parts of the holiday season!
Disneyland’s Candlelight Processional is a show that features a 600-member choir and a celebrity narrator who tells the story of the first Christmas. The show will take place on December 6th and 7th, happening twice on each night. First at 5:30 PM, and then at 7:45 PM each evening.

If you’re planning on going to the magical show, you’re going to need to get your park reservations as soon as possible! It’s a popular event, and gets very busy, so you’ll need to find a spot in front of the Main Street Railroad Station pretty early in order to get a good view. Trust us, people will get there hours and hours before the first show.

Unlike EPCOT, which also has a Candlelight Processional, the narrators don’t get announced until the show actually begins at Disneyland. In previous years, narrators have included celebrities such as Brie Larson, Viola Davis, John Stamos, Dick Van Dyke, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and other big stars! Last year saw Marvel Studios’ star, Kathryn Han.

This is by far one of our favorite holiday events, if not our absolute favorite. We can’t wait to see who the celebrity narrator is this year and listen to classic Christmas carols!
