Alright friends, we’re headed to EPCOT!

EPCOT is chock-full of things to do for people of all ages. There’s World Nature for people who enjoy The Land and The Seas, World Discovery for those who are the adventurous type, World Showcase for the worldly travelers, and World Celebration is your gateway into it all. So if you’re visiting EPCOT soon, you’ll want to know these 23 sneaky ride tips for the best experience ever!
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
1. Where You Sit Is EVERYTHING
In general, the front of a roller coaster feels the fastest and smoothest, while the back feels the wildest and whips you around more.

But on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the middle gives you the best view of the story elements!

2. Pay Attention to the Speaking Parts

It’s really hard to hear the first time you ride, but there are super funny jokes from the Guardians that DO change from ride to ride!
3. Stick to the Right as You Head Into the Two Pre-show Rooms.

When the pre-show room changes, head towards the doors. You’ll be the first out of the pre-show and into the final stretch of the queue. It’ll make for a shorter wait for the ride.
4. Be Ready for the Ride Photo

The ride photo is taken while you turn after the reverse launch. If you’ve got long hair, keep it out of your face!
Mission: SPACE
5. There Is Variation Within This Ride!
When you ride Mission: SPACE, you have two options — Orange or Green. One of the most important differences between these two options is the quessiness factor, but that’s not the only difference.

The two ride variations do have different storylines, so if you’ve experienced one, you have not experienced the other. However, you’ll want to let your stomachs decide if you’ll ride a second time.
6. There Are Different Roles Within the Ride
When you ride Mission: SPACE, you can be the Commander, Pilot, Navigator, or Engineer.

The Navigator and Engineer are on the outside of the shuttle pods, so it can be helpful if you don’t like tight spaces to take those roles.
7. Plan Your Mission: SPACE Ride Strategically

We recommend riding Mission: SPACE early in the day or as your very last ride of the day to minimize queasiness or time left in the park while sick.
8. Pack Dramamine for EPCOT!

There are several nauseating rides, including Mission: SPACE, Soarin’, and possibly Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Spaceship Earth
Currently, Spaceship Earth is closed for refurbishment. However, it is expected to reopen on October 25th! Once it reopens, use these tips to enjoy the ride.
9. Wait To Ride Spaceship Earth

The best time to ride Spaceship Earth is in the late afternoon/early evening. Wait to go until after around 2 PM. The line tends to spike around that time, but after that, it should be a walk-on.
10. The Trick to Getting Your Face Just Right on Spaceship Earth
If you want your face to register on Spaceship Earth, look to the right and smile big as you pass the camera flash.
Living with the Land
11. Want a Specific Seat on a Ride? Just Ask!

Ask a Cast Member before you load if you want a certain seat on the ride. This tip pertains to all rides, not just Living with the Land. Most of the time, they’ll accommodate – even on things like Living with the Land. You might just have to wait for the next loading rotation.
12. Can’t Get Enough of the Greenhouses? Take a Tour!

You can take the Behind the Seeds tour if you love Living with the Land. This tour gives you an up-close and personal look at the greenhouses and aquaponic tanks. It’s a very neat tour, and it’s one of the most reasonably priced tours at Disney World.
Soarin’ Around the World
13. There Are Seats on Soarin’ That Are the Best. Trust Us.

We suggest asking the friendly Cast Members at Soarin for the best seats in row B1. While the Eiffel Tower scene has been updated, these seats are still the best ones for the ride.

14. Soarin’ Is a Full Sensory Experience

Not only will you feel the wind through your hair, but you will also take a whiff when you see elephants, the Taj Mahal, and the islands for some fun smells, too!
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
15. Let’s Talk Rope Drop
Is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure worth rope dropping?

We suggest rope dropping Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ONLY if you are coming from the International Gateway entrance. Otherwise, it’s a VERY long hike to this ride. If you’re coming in the main entrance, you’re better off rushing to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or Frozen Ever After.
16. If Sou See That Remy’s Is Down, Hang Out in That Area.

This trick can save you time in line, because the ride can have a very short wait when it comes back up!
17. Get Your Nose Ready on This Ride, Too!

Take a whiff while you’re in the oven, the kitchen, and at Remy’s restaurant for some fun smells!
18. Lightning Lanes
Let’s talk Lightning Lanes.

If a ride is down and you have a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, booking it could net you an Experience Redemption. When a ride goes down during your Lightning Lane Multi Pass window, the My Disney Experience app automatically awards a Multi-Experience Redemption Pass that can be used at any time on other Multi Pass attractions.

If you have a Lightning Lane Single Pass for a ride that goes down, you’ll get an anytime pass for that specific ride. If you ever have questions about your Lightning Lanes while in the parks, it never hurts to talk to a Cast Member at a blue umbrella or at the front of the park at Guest Services.
World Showcase
19. France Pavilion
Located near the back of the France Pavilion is the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along. However, this is not the only show you can catch in this theater!

You can catch a totally different show, Impressions de France, between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM and 8:45 PM at Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along. Check the My Disney Experience app for more exact show times daily.
20. The Best Place for a Nap

The American Adventure pavilion is truly a great place to nap. Grab a seat along the half wall or sit in the theater for a cozy snooze!
Frozen Ever After
21. The Shortest Waits

This is a VERY popular ride, but it is possible to see the wait time drop a little bit. The shortest waits of the day happen during the fireworks and for the first hour of the park day.
22. Be Photo Ready

Pose for the ride photo on Frozen Ever After after you see Marshmallow!
23. Stay In Line After the Park Closes!

If you’re in line before the park closes, you can still wait and ride, no matter how long the wait is. That means being in line for an attraction by 10:59 PM if the park closes at 11 PM. We’ve found that wait times tend to be a lot shorter than posted at this time.

There you have it! 23 sneaky ride tricks for EPCOT. We hope these help you enjoy your day even more. For more Disney World tips and tricks, keep following AllEars!
