Planning a Disney World vacation is hard, and don’t let anyone tell you it isn’t. There are a lot of decisions to make, including if you’re going to purchase Lightning Lanes to help skip the lines at Disney World’s most popular attractions.

Lightning Lane

There’s a lot to learn about Lightning Lanes, but if you’ve been wanting to try them out, October might be a great month to do it.

There are three different types of Lightning Lanes at Disney World that you can choose from: Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Single Pass, and Premier Pass. Prices depend on demand, with days when Disney expects the most crowds having the highest prices.

Why is October the month to buy Lightning Lanes? Well, prices are about to go up! The holidays are the busiest time of the year in Disney World, and as a result of Disney’s dynamic pricing, that means Lightning Lanes will likely be at their highest prices of the year. Magic Kingdom typically has the highest prices for Lightning Lanes, so if you’ve been wanting to use them, October might be the time.
