A popular Disneyland attraction is getting an update!
Disneyland is currently celebrating its 70th anniversary with tons of limited-time entertainment, food, and more! While we love a celebration, we also love exciting changes even more, and now, Disney has shared that you might get tangled up in the park soon!
Storybook Land Canal Boats are getting an update! A new miniature of Rapunzel’s tower from the movie Tangled is coming to the Fantasyland attraction during the park’s 70th anniversary.
This new addition will be located between the Patchwork Quilt and Toad Hall when the ride reopens this winter. In addition to the tower, you will also see multiple wanted posters for Flynn Rider, but Disney did confirm they weren’t quite able to get his nose right. During the day, you will hear the song When Will My Life Begin as you float past the tower. At night, you will hear I See The Light as you drift past, which we love!
We are serious fans of this sweet attraction, which finds you on a boat floating through Disney homes and villages from different stories and films. The attraction is currently closed for refurbishment for normal updates and, now, the addition of Rapunzel!
In addition to this big change, there are also tons of updates coming to Disneyland Resort. Starting May 22nd, 2026, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is getting brand new destinations, and the engineer will be getting a new role. Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue will also be closing permanently to make way for a new Avatar-themed land.
Plus, there’s going to be a new Coco attraction in Disney California Adventure, along with two new attractions in Avengers Campus called Avengers: Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab.
