Disney fans, this is YOUR week to pick up some eats you might find around the Germany Pavilion a little closer to home!
We love strolling EPCOT’s World Showcase pavilions and checking out the eats around each country. In fact, our fascination doesn’t just stop there because each pavilion is a great place to pop into if you’re looking for some of the best and most unique Disney World souvenirs you’ll find in all of the park.
The Germany pavilion holds a special place in our Disney-loving hearts. It’s home to some of the softest plush character toys, a unique atmosphere and architecture of its buildings, and even more authentic eats.
If the Germany pavilion is one of your main hangouts around EPCOT’s World Showcase, this week is the week you’ll want to stop by your local ALDI store. In the next weekly ALDI Finds, it appears that ALDI’s holding a miniature Oktoberfest of their own! As we do each year, we spotted lots of German foods that will be on sale, and if you’ve been in Disney withdrawals, this could be the perfect excuse to stock your fridge and pantry with some German-inspired cuisines.
Let’s take a closer look at next week’s offerings, available from September 17th to September 23rd. And fair warning — there’s A LOT! If you’re a fan of those beautifully firm yet soft on the inside German pretzels, this is your calling to make these babies for your own kitchen to enjoy at home.
You’ll probably want some dipping sauces for those soft pretzels, and don’t worry — ALDI’s already thought of that for you!
Fruit strudels are calling our names from afar, as well as these German-inspired cakes!
They’ve also got Pumpernickel, Sunflower Seed, and Whole Rye Bread on sale, as well as Sugar Roasted Almonds.
Those with a mild sweet tooth craving might find themselves most interested in these cookies and Doppel Keks.
Seriously — they’re leaving no cookie unturned here as you’ve got a wide variety of flavors to choose from!
The sweets don’t stop there, though! ALDI’s even got chocolate-covered wafers, peanut puffs, and potato sticks on sale this week.
Speaking of those potato sticks, if you’re looking for a few good sauces to accompany them, look no further than the pineapple curry sauce and these herring fillets in tomato sauce.
AHHH — even the cream cakes are on sale!
Missing that Biergarten buffet? Make your own at home, including schnitzel, spaetzle, and a cherry frangipane tart!
Of course, they couldn’t leave out the veggies! German-style pickles and red cabbage with apples will also be around for grabs.
And to round us out on our German cuisine journey, ALDI’s even offering a few different savory flavors of strudel.
Honestly, this was an ALDI Finds week we weren’t expecting — it just goes to show you that you never know what ALDI will feature next in their sales!
