REVIEW: 3 NEW Menu Items Just Debuted at This Disney World Hotel Restaurant, and We’re OBSESSED with All of Them

Planning a trip to Disney World and not sure where you should eat while you’re there? Luckily, you’ve come to the right place!

Welcome to Disney World!

Here at AllEars, we know all the ins and outs of Disney World restaurants — including where you should definitely eat, and where you should skip. We recently stopped by Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort to check out some new menu items and are bringing you our FULL review!

Background

This craftsman-inspired dining room at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort caters to practically all tastebuds with a variety of dishes, incredible sides, and amazing, cut-in-house steaks. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our previous visits to dine here, and when we noticed new menu items for dinner, especially that they’re new VEGAN items, a return visit was absolutely a must!

Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant.

Atmosphere

This upscale steak house has a varied menu for most tastes and adheres to a casual dress code (so don’t plan to show up for dinner wearing swim trunks or flip flops).

Inside Yachtsman Steakhouse

The whole restaurant has great lighting all throughout — it’s not too bright to mess with the theme, but also not too dark so you can’t see your meal.

Dining Area

Be sure to check out all the artwork and artifacts on the walls as well — it really helps bring the theme all together, and is great to look at while you wait for your meal.

We love the atmosphere!

But enough about that, what are we eating?!

Food & Drinks

The Bread Service is complimentary at this restaurant, and it comes with Sourdough and Onion Bread, with two of each in the basket. It also came with some unsalted butter with pink Himalayan salt on top, as well as a roasted garlic glove.

Bread Service

The onion bread you can peel apart like a Parker House roll, which we adored. If you spread the butter and garlic on it, it almost tastes like a homemade garlic knot. The Sourdough was also nice — soft on the inside and just hard enough on the outside — so overall, consider us impressed.

We’re big fans!

First up, we grabbed the Beet Tartare for $16. This is made of citrus-roasted beets, cherry vinaigrette, roasted red bell peppers, avocado, yuzu, white soy “egg”, and crostini.

Beet Tartare

It almost has the same pickled taste you’d get when you start eating a jalapeno, but doesn’t have any heat behind it. The pickled beets on top are great, and the flavors overall are very present without being overwhelming. The crisps it’s served with are also salted and seasoned beautifully, which pairs great with the other flavors.

They partner very well together!

We also grabbed the Black Garlic Fettuccini for $38. This is made with house-made fettuccine, seared baby squash, heirloom cherry tomatoes, mushroom conserva, and creamy black garlic sauce.

Black Garlic Fettuccini

This totally had us falling head over heels in love with it — the black pepper taste isn’t overpowering, and all the vegetables inside of it partner beautifully with the pasta. There’s just enough sauce to complement the rest of the pasta, so it was far from drowning in it. Overall, we would come back to get this again and again!

Delicious!

For dessert, we picked up the Berries and Cream for $15. This is made with rich berry-infused “crème”, vanilla sponge, house-made pink “chocolate,” and macerated berries.

Berries and Cream

We would honestly make a reservation just for this! The whipped mouse inside is fantastic and tastes like wild berries. The fruit is so fresh, and the whipped cream on top is light, fluffy, and has freeze-dried raspberries on top that add a great extra crunch. Sure, it’s on the expensive side, but man, is it good!

Full Spread

We think these are fantastic new vegan offerings in Disney World, so we’re incredibly impressed. Two of the offerings we’re absolutely thinking of getting again, even though our reporter isn’t vegan. This restaurant remains as one of our top recommendations at Disney World for sit-down restaurants!
