It’s no secret that a lot of folks have plans to visit Universal Orlando this summer.

Many of those people are visiting to check out Universal Orlando’s NEW theme park, Epic Universe, which opens on May 22nd. However, there will be so much MORE to see and do in Universal Orlando this summer, and we have a full list of it all!
First up, the Universal Mega Movie Parade returned on April 12th and will run through November 13th. You’ll see some of your favorite Universal movie characters and properties represented, including Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park, Trolls, Jaws, and more.

Cinesational: A Symphonic Spectacular is a returning nighttime show showcasing some of your favorite Universal movie moments as their soundtracks play. You’ll listen to the music from Harry Potter, Jurassic World, Jaws, and more in sync with dancing fountains and fireworks. Catch this show on select dates from April 14th through August 24th.

You’ll also be able to catch the Hogwarts Always nighttime projection show that features a school year at Hogwarts, all projected onto Hogwarts Castle. You’ll be able to see this show on select dates from April 14th through August 24th.

Universal will also be celebrating the release of Jurassic World: Rebirth on July 2nd with special offerings in Jurassic Park in Islands of Adventure. You’ll find themed photo ops, as well as exclusive food and drinks at The Burger Digs. Starting on May 23rd, you can also pick up some exclusive Jurassic World: Rebirth merchandise in Jurassic Outfitters and Dinostore.

The live-action How To Train Your Dragon arrives in theaters on June 13th, and Universal is celebrating with new merchandise at Island of Adventure’s Lost Continent, including a Toothless shoulder plush.

Wicked: For Good releases on November 21st, and to celebrate, Wicked: The Experience is returning to Universal Studios Florida. You’ll be able to see replicas of the costumes from the film, meet Elphaba and Glinda, get Wicked merchandise, and more from June 23rd through August 10th.

M3GAN 2.0 hits theater screens on June 27th, and Universal says, “you might just see her in Universal Studios Florida.” If you’re a M3GAN fan, you’ll want to be in the park from June 10th through 30th.Â

Jaws will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary this summer. For a limited time, you can celebrate by visiting the San Francisco area of Universal Studios Florida, which will be transformed to feel like Amity. You’ll also find specially-themed food and drinks, new merchandise, and a popcorn bucket.

Another Universal movie is celebrating an anniversary: Back to the Future turns 40 this year. You’ll be able to find tons of exclusive merchandise, including clothing, a snazzy license plate, and even a (non-flying) hoverboard (pouch).

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is turning 15 this year at Universal. You can celebrate by visiting the ENTIRE Wizarding World, including the brand new Ministry of Magic in Epic Universe. In mid-June, you’ll be able to get a commemorative glass plaque commemorating 15 years of Hogsmeade at Universal Orlando Resort.

If you’re a Universal Orlando Annual Passholder, you can take advantage of some NEW perks this summer:
- An exclusive viewing area for the Mega Movie Parade
- Exclusive seating areas in select dining locations
- Exclusive menu items
- Exclusive merchandise commemorating the 35th anniversary of Universal Studios Florida
- 3-Park Passholder Early Park Admission at Universal Volcano Bay

Finally, the Summer Movie Series is happening at CityWalk, where you can see the following classic films:
- E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial: May 17th and 21st
- The Mummy: May 31st and June 4th
- The Fast and the Furious: June 7th and June 11th
- Kung Fu Panda: June 28th and July 2nd
- Trolls: July 12th and 16th
- Shrek: July 26th and 30th

CityWalk is also having The Summer Music Series, which will run on Saturdays from June 21st through August 9th.
On July 4th, a DJ and pyrotechnic show will light up the night sky from the roof of Transformers: The Ride-3D in Universal Studios Florida, plus you’ll find more music and entertainment throughout CityWalk.
There’s a LOT happening at Universal Orlando this summer, so it will be a great time to visit.
