The Major Hotel Perk NO ONE Is Talking About For Epic Universe

Epic Universe is the talk of the internet, and it isn’t even open yet!

Universal‘s newest theme park opens on May 22nd, 2025, but Team Member and Annual Passholder previews are well underway, giving us some incredible time in the park already. We have lots of different opinions and takes, but there’s one thing no one is talking about, and we can’t figure out why! 

There is SO much to see and do in Epic Universe that we don’t even know if you can get it done in one day. That’s why we can’t believe no one is talking about this MAJOR hotel perk for Universal’s newest theme park. 

Just like Disney, Universal offers early theme park entry for people staying at any of Universal’s hotels! This gives you up to an hour inside the Universal theme parks before they open, which can be a huge time saver on your vacation. Luckily for all of us, Epic Universe will be included in early theme park entry starting on May 23rd! 

The theme park is seeing longer lines and decent-sized crowds during previews, and the park isn’t at capacity during these. That makes us wonder what it will look like once the park officially opens on May 22nd, 2025. That’s why we think early entry will be such a huge hotel perk for guests staying at the resort.

It’s important to note that there are only 4 attractions available during early entry: Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, Yoshi’s Adventure, Mine-Cart Madness, and Stardust Racers.

While it might only be four attractions, Stardust Racers, Mine Cart, and Mario Kart have all been seeing wait times of 50+ minutes throughout the day, so they can still save you a good chunk of time. While only those attractions are included, once the park opens you can explore the 5 lands — Celestial Park, Dark Universe, Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – The Ministry of Magic, and Super Nintendo World!

Epic Universe isn’t the only Universal park with early entry, though! Islands of Adventure early entry includes Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Flight of the Hippogriff, Jurassic World VelociCoaster, Ollivanders, and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure!

At Universal Studios, they tend not to have early entry, making Epic’s early access even more exciting.  Make sure to double-check that before your trip, though, because it is subject to change! 

We seriously can’t stop gushing over Epic Universe, and we are ready to head into the new theme park again and again. With so much to see and do, you need to utilize every second in the park that you can! This is the ultimate way to beat the crowds and start checking off your must-dos before everyone else.
