What we’re saying might sound crazy, but it’s almost time to start planning your 2026 Disney World trip.

Disney just gave us a glimpse into all the hotel perks returning for 2026, so let’s dive in and see what’s going to make your Disney World Resort stay the best one yet.
1. Early Entry
Early Entry is an awesome perk that lets guests at all Disney World Resorts enter the theme parks earlier than other guests. All four parks have Early Entry every day. Score!

Only certain attractions are open during Early Entry, but it can be a great way to ride a super popular attraction before the general public can get to it.

2. Extended Evening Hours
Similar to Early Entry, Extended Evening Hours gives you extra time in the park after it closes to the general public. This perk is only available to those staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort or Disney Villas at Walt Disney World.

This perk is not available every day at every park, but it changes throughout the week. You’ll want to check the My Disney Experience app to plan out your park days to take advantage of this.

3. Free Transportation
There might be nothing we love more than Disney transportation. From the monorail and Skyliner to buses and boats, Disney transportation is free, and that won’t change in 2026.

We love not worrying about driving at the end of a long park day, but can instead sit on the monorail and know we’ll be back at our hotel soon.

4. Free Parking Everywhere
Another amazing thing about Disney World is the free parking for resort guests.

Whether you’re parking at your resort or any of the theme parks and Disney Springs, you can park for free. You won’t have to worry about day or overnight parking.

5. Early Access to Dining Reservations and Lightning Lanes
When you stay at a Disney Resort, you get to book everything just a little bit earlier. This can be essential to securing those prime Lightning Lanes or that Ohana reservation you’ve been craving.

You also get access to special event tickets like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

6. Free Water Park Entry
On the day of your check-in, you’ll receive a free water park ticket to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, where you can spend the day catching waves and making a splash with your family.

Every guest booked in the room will get this free pass to explore the water parks. Hard to beat a free park ticket!

What is your favorite hotel perk? Tell us about it in the comments!
One perk I wish they would bring back is the ability to send in-park purchases back to your hotel for free. There are things we would purchase, but don’t want to have to carry them around, so we don’t. I missed being able to send it to my hotel and pick it up that evening.
Since when is parking at resorts free? I thought they added a parking fee when staying at a wdw resort…. Did they remove this fee?
Hi Laura! Walt Disney World eliminated the resort parking fee for guests at their hotels on January 10, 2023.
