Disneyland has some big things in the works!

The 70th Anniversary for the original Disney park is coming up soon, and it’s bringing new shows, characters, and so much more along with it! If you’ve ever wanted to get in on the fun of Disneyland, now might be your chance.
Have you ever wanted to be a Cast Member so you could help bring the magic to life? Now might be your time to shine because Disney just listed a new casting announcement online for characters from the upcoming film, The Fantastic Four!Â

The casting is for two characters from the famous foursome. First is Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic, who is the leader of the group! The casting for the character requests the actor be between 5’11’ and 6’1′ with the ability to work a minimum of 3 days a week.

The second casting is for Johnny Storm, the hot-headed little brother of Sue Storm, also known as the Human Torch! Disney writes that Johnny, “burns up the sky with an unquenchable love of adventure and always has the backs of his family.” Actors for this role must be between 5’8.5” and 5’10”. Both roles are only for a limited time!Â

Both roles require a minimum of 3 days a week availability, and you must be at least 18 years old to audition. The audition process has 2 parts. First, you must create and update your Disney Auditions profile with a resume and 4 current photos of yourself with form-fitting attire on. One photo must be a full smile showing teeth, one without a smile, a full-body shot from the ground up, and a profile photo from the waist up.

The second step requires checking in on checkin.disneyauditions.com, selecting the correct audition, and submitting your application. If you’re selected to move on, you will be contacted by Talent Casting with Disney before an in-person callback. The roles pay $25 per hour with a $4.75 per hour premium for any hours worked “on-stage” as a Look-Alike character.

Thanks to a previous announcement, we know that these characters, along with their friend H.E.R.B.I.E. will be located in Tomorrowland! The casting closes on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT. These characters are appearing in the parks thanks to the new film The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which hits theaters on July 25th, 2025. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news and updates.
