Universal has some of the greatest movies out there, including Jurassic Park, How to Train Your Dragon, Despicable Me, and so many more. Something these movies all have in common is that you can find them within Universal Studios theme parks!

Some of their most popular movies, though, still don’t have attractions, and here are four movies we think need rides at Universal Studios — immediately.
1. Wicked

This movie rocked the world, making over $735 million in box office revenue worldwide, and Universal Orlando has its own Wicked pop-up experience, Wicked: The Experience! Based on the popular musical, Wicked brought fan favorites Elphaba and Glinda to the big screen.

We love the walk-through exhibit with photo opportunities and costume and prop models from the movie, but imagine if it was a full ride. We would love to visit the Emerald City and fly in a hot air balloon or even visit Shiz.
2. Madagascar

A childhood favorite! We love Marty, Alex, Melman, and Gloria, and the attraction could take guests through the whole movie. We would love to have a dance party with King Julien and “move it, move it!”

Not only does Madagascar have three movies, but it also has a few series, including some with The Penguins of Madagascar. The ride could even end with a zoo where visitors can see more animals.
3. Jaws

I know what you’re thinking: ” Doesn’t Jaws already have an attraction?” Well, not anymore. Jaws closed in 2012 at Universal Orlando to make way for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but It is still a stop on the Tram Tour in Universal Hollywood. This isn’t enough for the Jaws fan!

Jaws celebrated its 50th Anniversary this year and received brand-new merchandise, but when is our ride coming back? He deserves his own attraction, where we can visit Amity Island and get the full experience. I remember being terrified of this part of the tram tour in Hollywood, and it needs to be restored to its full glory!
4. Megamind

The 2010 movie is still fresh in our minds, and this movie never made its way to the theme parks. This could fit right into the superhero theme of Islands of Adventure, and the gift shop at the end could be filled with Megamind merchandise.

We would even take a character meet-and-greet! Maybe Megamind could meet with Barry B. Benson from Bee Movie.
We would love it if these attractions made their way (or made their way back!) to Universal Studios so we can experience them. Keep following AllEars to learn more about Universal and everything to come!

What movie do you wish had a ride at Universal? Let us know in the comments!
I think universal studios should build a back to the future Zipline hoverboard ride and bring back the deloren car simulator ride. Also I would like an American tail train ride. Also I also want 3 Nintendo rides Luigi’s haunted mansion dark ride, legend of Zelda owl flight simulator ride. I also want a donkey Kong mine cart madness ride. I hope those rides will get built soon.
