A Disney World Attraction Will PERMANENTLY CLOSE in 6 Days

Big changes are coming to the Disney Parks!

The Disney Villains are planning their move into Magic Kingdom, the Muppets are evicting Aerosmith, and Lightning McQueen and Mater are getting ready to explore new terrains! It’s almost hard to keep up with the changes so this is your reminder that a major closure is hitting Animal Kingdom in just a few days!

It’s time to say goodbye to Flik and his pals. If you’re a fan of It’s Tough To Be A Bug, we are here to sadly remind you that the opening day attraction will be closing permanently on March 17th, 2025. 

The animatronic show starring Flik and his crew of creepy crawlers is based on the Disney film A Bug’s Life! The show is located inside the Tree of Life and has been located there since the park opened in 1998. While it wasn’t for everyone, this show holds a special place in this writer’s heart thanks to the laughs, screams, and good times held inside the Tree of Life Theater.

The last chance to watch the show will be March 16th, 2025 before it closes the next day. To replace the show, Disney is currently working on Zootopia: Better Zoogether! 

This show will be based on the Disney film Zootopia and will star Jennifer Goodwin who is returning as the voice of Judy Hopps! The show will take guests on an adventure through the different biomes that you see within the film.

Disney has already given us a glimpse of what’s to come for the show that’s expected to debut in Winter 2025. You can watch a behind-the-scenes video here!

While we are super excited to see Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps join the Animal Kingdom family, we are sad to say goodbye to Flik and his friends! (Well, only some people are sad. We get it, it wasn’t for everyone.) If you don’t want to worry about keeping up with every little change in Disney World, let someone else do it for you!
