“SC+” is a new daily “SportsCenter” show, which is set to stream exclusively on Disney+, Disney’s streaming service, on Monday, March 3rd. The show is designed for a more “casual” audience of sports fans, according to Disney.

It’s a shorter and streamlined offshoot of the 45-year-old sports highlight show that’s been on ESPN. The shows will be at least 15 minutes, but the length will vary depending.

Called a “fast-paced daily update”, this show is continuing Disney’s focus to introduce sports content to its streaming service. At the end of 2024, Disney+ added an ESPN tile and we’ve seen CEO Bob Iger mention sports in several of the company’s earnings calls, so we expect this trend to continue.

So what is the show all about? Well, it will highlight top sports moments built around the SportsCenter Top 10 plays segment with exclusive commentary and analytics from ESPN reporters.

Subscribers can stream this every morning starting at 9 AM ET and each episode will be available on demand for 24 hours on Disney+ in the U.S. Weekday shows are hosted by Gary Striewski and Randy Scott (who will remain involved in the 7 AM “SportsCenter” over on ESPN). Hannah Storm and Jay Harris will host on weekends.
