NEWS: Tickets for a BRAND NEW Universal After Hours Event Are On Sale NOW

We can’t wait to go to Universal!

Universal Orlando has some big things happening in 2025 with Epic Universe opening, new hotels coming to the resort, and more! It seems like even Universal’s waterpark, Volcano Bay, is getting in on the fun. 

Are you ready to go for a swim? For the first time, Universal is hosting Universal Volcano Bay Nights! This special nighttime event will be offered on select Saturday nights including April 12th and 26th and May 3rd, 10th, and 17th!

The event is limited capacity and will feature the park’s water attractions, live entertainment, character meet and greets, complimentary snacks, and more. This event will allow guests to experience these popular rides with lower wait times like the Krakatau Aqua Coaster, Ko’okiri Body Plunge, and the Kala and Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides.

There will also be a live DJ and games for when you want to take a break from the water! For the character meet and greets, you’ll be able to say hi to several DreamWorks characters like Shrek, Fiona, Puss in Boots, Kitty Soft Paws, King Julien, Alex, Poppy, Branch, and Guy Diamond!

When you get hungry, the complimentary foods will include the Spicy Island Shrimp and Cheesy Cliffside Seashell Pasta plus more than 100 drink choices that you can toss in your complimentary Volcano Bay Freestyle Souvenir Cup!

If the complimentary snacks aren’t for you, Kohola Reef Restaurant and Social Club, Dancing Dragons Boast Bar, and Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona will be open with specialty foods and beverages for purchase.

Tickets are now available for the nighttime event starting at $99 per person! Parking is included with your ticket purchase and you can arrive at the park as early as 4:00 PM before the event officially begins at 7:00 PM. The event will run for 3 hours and end at 10:00 PM. 

If you’re a Universal Annual Passholder, you can get a 10% discount on your ticket! Anyone looking to make the night even more special can add on a private cabana starting at $249.99 on the day of the event. Tickets for the event are on sale now on Universal’s website!
