I have a pretty unique job. I go to Disney World for a living, and it’s my job to report on the latest theme park news, review the latest snacks, and share Disney tips, tricks, and theme park history with you. Not a bad gig, right?

As you might imagine, being a Disney World reporter involves a lot of time on my phone. I’m taking pictures. I’m recording videos. I’m texting my friends to tell them what’s new. I’m booking Lightning Lanes on the Disney World app. My phone is practically my coworker! This also means I have a habit of draining my phone battery before lunch. But thanks to this secret trick, I have mastered the art of phone charging in Disney World, and I’m telling you everything I know.
There are a lot of great portable chargers out there, but there’s one problem with them all: you have to remember to CHARGE your portable phone charger. And if you’re like me, you might burn through all that power in no time, and suddenly, you’re walking around with a useless brick. That’s why I like FuelRods!

FuelRods are part of a special system in Disney World where I can swap my depleted charger for a fully charged one at a FuelRod kiosk. That means I don’t have to worry about charging my portable chargers — I can just swap them out for a fresh one!

Now, I travel with a LOT of FuelRods. I always have at least two in my bag — some days, I carry as many as FIVE. I told you I burn through my phone battery quickly.

There are kiosks all over the Disney parks and resorts, but there is one secret spot where I always go when I need to charge my phone. If you, like me, travel with multiple FuelRods, you might want to visit Town Square Theater at Magic Kingdom. Here, Disney offers two fuel rod kiosks located side-by-side, so you can use both at the same time. This is a real game-changer!

This is one of the few places in Disney World with multiple FuelRod stations in the same place, so if you’re trying to maximize your power for the day, stock up on Main Street, U.S.A.!

Want to get started before your next trip? You can pick up a kit on Amazon!
I hope this little tip helps you on your next trip to Disney World! If you want to see ALL the FuelRod kiosks, you can search “Portable Phone Charging Service Kiosks” on the My Disney Experience app and tap “Find on Map.”

In the meantime, the AllEars team is always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
