REMINDER: A Classic Disney California Adventure Ride Closes PERMANENTLY This Weekend

It’s the end of the road for an iconic Disney California Adventure attraction.

Disney California Adventure’s Red Car Trolley is officially CLOSING on Sunday, February 9th, 2025, bringing a PERMANENT END to the longstanding iconic park attraction. The Red Car Trolley’s closure is part of the larger Avengers Campus expansion.

The Red Car Trolley debuted in 2012, offering several daily rides up and down Buena Vista Street. The attraction includes two replicas of early-to-mid 20th-century Los Angeles Pacific Electric trolley cars that are battery-powered (the wires and trolley poles are just for show).

To get one last ride in, make sure you visit Disney California on or before February 8th.

While the ride wasn’t the most popular at Disney California, it will surely be missed, as it’s nearly impossible to miss while walking down Buena Vista Street, Carthay Circle, Hollywood Boulevard, and Sunset Boulevard.

The ride going out of service is directly related to Disney removing the Red Car Trolley barn in order to make room for Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab — two NEW rides coming to the Avengers Campus expansion.
