Disney Announces Surprise Opening for NEW Haunted Mansion Store!

Are you ready to be haunted?

Disneyland holds a such special place in our hearts! There is so much going on on the West Coast with the 70th Anniversary celebrations and even more special events throughout next year but we won’t have to wait until next year for something new to haunt the California park!

Today, December 23rd, guests heading to Disneyland can check out the brand new Haunted Mansion shop, Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond! This shop is Madame Leota’s home from when she was mortal and now you get to step inside too.

We got to glimpse inside the new store over on the Disney Parks X account and Instagram account. You can spot Madame Leota in her prime in a portrait holding up a crystal ball. Personally, we want to know if they’ll be selling her jewelry!

Inside the store, you can even find the crystal ball that Madame Leota once used along with several Haunted Mansion easter eggs and detailed decor.

According to Disney, they have repurposed her furniture, like her desk, cabinets, and chests, to now display merchandise for anyone wandering into her home.

While Leota is busy working between the realms you can find floating instruments and even a portrait of a spirit or two.

If you’re ready to awaken some spirits, she even has a tambourine on display.

We can’t wait to see what else we spot once we finally make it into the store ourselves. Maybe she’ll let us borrow a few books on incantations!

This old carriage house turned Leota’s home turned gift shop is ready for visitors and we can’t wait to take a peek inside after going through the mansion. This new addition is a part of the Haunted Mansion queue expansion which recently wrapped up part one in November.
