ALERT! The First Holiday Decorations Have Arrived in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We know it’s Halloween, but it’s time to start thinking about what’s coming next…the holidays!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

If you’re a Disney World fan, you know that the parks like to prep for the holidays a little bit early. Magic Kingdom decorates for Halloween, so those pumpkins have to stay up through October, but Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom often get a head start on their Christmas spectacles. And today, we spotted some new additions at one of those parks!

If you’re into retro Christmas decor, then you’ll be delighted to know that Hollywood Studios has put up its FIRST holiday season decorations. What is it? The iconic tinsel stars on Sunset Boulevard!

They’ve arrived!

Each year, these red and white stars line the lampposts on Sunset Boulevard, and they’re usually the first decorations to go up in the park. This whole street has immaculate vibes during the festive season, thanks to retro decor, lights at night, and occasionally, some snoap.

But this isn’t the only spot that will get decorated in the park! We’ll also be expecting some holiday decor over in the Echo Lake area with wreaths, tinsel, and of course, the iconic Christmas tree. Nothing has been added in that area yet.

We’ve also seen various festive decor spread throughout Hollywood Boulevard and Toy Story Land in the past. Seriously, Hollywood Studios does it UP for the Christmas season. And if you want to see the park at its peak level of festive, then you might want to snag a ticket to Jollywood Nights!

The hard-ticketed holiday event returns this year for the second time, and Disney is bringing back some popular entertainment options along with new offerings. Tickets are available now on the Disney World website.

In the meantime, if you’re looking for more holiday decor, the only other park to start decorating so far has been Animal Kingdom. They’ve got a few of the Merry Menagerie-inspired lanterns up in Discovery Island over there.

Is that what we think it is?

Also, work has already started on the iconic gingerbread cottage at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. Stop by during your vacation to check out the progress as the pastry team assembles this incredible creation!
