3 Disney Outfits That Were Total FAILS

We go to Disney World every day. That’s not meant to be a brag — we’re just saying…we’ve seen it and lived it all! We’ve endured dozens of blisters. We’ve sweated through many t-shirts. We’ve fought with bodysuits. We get it.

Hi Emma!

That’s why we’re here to help! Take it from us — there are some outfits, no matter how cute they are, that just aren’t worth it. Please. PLEASE. Do NOT wear these things to Disney World.

According to Emma, short shorts are NOT recommended for a day in Disney World. In fact, she believes that any outfit with shorts that don’t cover her thighs is a BIG no-no. No one enjoys chafing, right?!

If you’re planning to wear an athletic dress to Disney World, look for one with longer slip shorts! We loved this mini romper dress from Amazon.

Oh, and here’s a pro-tip: if the built-in shorts are too short, you can always put on separate pair for added coverage. Moral of the story? The best way to combat chafing is to avoid short shorts!

Think you can handle boots in Disney World? You might think, “Oh, the heel isn’t that high. I can do it.” No. You can’t. Trust us.

Quincy and hologram Mickey Mouse

As cute as they may be, it’s better to skip the boots on vacation. We love athletic sandals since they’re easy to dress up or down.

The cast together!

Quincy tends to prefer Chaco sandals, while Fry Bucket likes Tevas!

Speaking of fashionable items that just aren’t practical for a seven-hour park day in Disney World, we have to talk about accessories. Sure, Minnie ears and sheer layering tops are cute, but they can really start to irritate your body after a while.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

If you want to bring these kinds of stylish items to Disney World, we recommend bringing a park bag that’s big enough to hold those Minnie ears or long-sleeve tops after you get itchy or uncomfortable. Take those photos and change, people!

Aladdin Loungefly

Loungefly bags hold a surprising amount of things, plus they are a cute accessory!
