Attention, Disney Fans! Something NEW Is Coming to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Minnie Mouse is making history this holiday season!

We’ve already got so much to look forward to over the next few months, with the holidays quickly approaching. Disney World has already started to see Christmas merchandise and souvenirs filling the stores, and we’re eagerly counting down to the first holiday parties of the year. Disney just announced that one of its most iconic characters is soaring to new heights soon, and you WON’T want to miss it!

November is a special time of the year. The temperatures start dipping a little more into winter territory, Disney World starts filling its parks with Christmas decorations, and we get together with friends and family for Thanksgiving.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, one of the longest-standing holiday traditions is one you’ve probably participated in for years. This year, Macy’s and Disney are gearing up to celebrate 90 years of collaboration by debuting a new balloon in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This is a parade that’s been in production since 1924, and millions enjoy the show each year.

Over the years, we’ve seen Disney participate in the parade with several parade floats, balloons of popular characters, and even musical performances, but this year marks something truly special. One of the newest multi-story balloons will be Minnie Mouse towering in the sky as part of the launch of a new collaborative line of apparel. Minnie’s balloon will feature her classic red dress with white polka dots and her signature red bow. This icon’s look isn’t complete, though, without those bright yellow heels!

The latest Disney clothing collection will be exclusive to Macy’s and will feature brand-new artwork by Disney’s legendary artist, Jeff Shelly. This new line is set to offer inspiring and fashionable outfits, beauty goodies, and collectibles.

You’ll be able to shop this new collection in stores and online, but we’ve gotta admit they’re super cute and could sell out fast!
