Travelers to Orlando are about to have EVEN MORE options.

Given that it’s home to some of the biggest tourist attractions in the world, including Disney World and the Universal Orlando Resort, it’s no surprise that Orlando is one of the busiest air travel cities on the planet. Now, another budget airline has added new flights to the city.
Breeze Airways, which bills itself as a “premium leisure low-cost” airline, is adding seven new routes into and out of Orlando International Airport (MCO) from cities in the northeast and the Midwest.
Six of the routes are nonstop and include:
- Lansing, Michigan (LAN); Wednesdays & Saturdays – Starts Oct. 2
- Bangor, Maine (BGR); Thursdays & Sundays – Starts Oct. 3
- Lancaster, Pennsylvania (LNS); Thursdays & Sundays – Starts Oct. 8
- Erie, Pennsylvania (ERI); Wednesdays & Saturdays – Starts Nov. 6
- South Bend, Indiana (SBN); Thursdays & Sundays – Starts Nov. 7
- Wilmington, North Carolina (ILM); Thursdays & Sundays – Starts Feb. 13
In addition, a seventh route from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) will begin on November 14th. This route will include a stopover, though passengers will not need to change planes. The route will run between New Jersey (and in turn the greater New York City area) and Orlando on Thursdays and Sundays.

Breeze Airways launched in May of 2021. The company describes itself as having been, “Founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, we operate a fleet of Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with a focus on providing efficient and affordable flights between secondary airports, bypassing hubs for shorter travel times. Our flights include seamless booking, no change or cancellation fees, up to 24-months of reusable flight credit, and customized flight features – including complimentary family seating – delivered via a sleek and simple app. We make it easy to buy and easy to fly.”
The airline offers 150 year-round and seasonal nonstop routes between 50+ cities in 25+ states, and has been “ranked as one of the U.S.’ best domestic airlines for the last two years by Travel + Leisure magazine’s World’s Best Awards (#2 in 2022 and #4 in 2023).”
