Big news, holiday fans!
We’re 6 months away from Christmas, and while that may seem like a long time to us, Disney has likely been preparing for this year since LAST Christmas! We’ve been waiting with bated breath to see if Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party would return to Magic Kingdom this year, and now we have our answer!
Disney has confirmed that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) will be returning to Magic Kingdom this year!
The time has finally come! Along with the confirmation, Disney also dropped ALL OF THE PARTY DATES that Mickey’s Very Mery Christmas Party will take place this year! If you’re looking to line up your visit for a party night (or two), here’s when they will be happening through the holiday season!
- November 8th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 26th, 27th, and 29th
- December 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th, and 20th
Magic Kingdom during MVMCP
This is a separately ticketed event that allows guests into the park after it closes to experience holiday magic in a variety of different ways! The party will officially start at 7PM and last until 12AM on these select nights!
If you’re looking to purchase tickets for the event, we’ve got the details for that too! Tickets for guests of select Disney World hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green will start on July 2nd, 2024. All other ticket sales, including for those not staying at Disney World hotels, will begin on July 10th, 2024.

We’re already swooning over the tease and can’t wait to see the rest of the collection!
You’ll be able to find exclusive eats at various quick service locations around the park, as well as grab as many free cookies and hot chocolate/apple cider beverages as you’d like.
While not every attraction will be available during the event, you can count on many of them being available, and a few having special ride overlays like Space Mountain and Jungle Cruise (iconically known as Jingle Cruise during this time!).
You’ll also be able to watch entertainment like:
- A Frozen Holiday Surprise
- Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show
- Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade
- Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show
- A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas

I’m not so excited about the food offerings and ticket pricing…Our previous visits to this festive event introduced me to cold hot chocolate…a cookie that tasted like dried cardboard and the apple cider that was apple juice…And the entry price was anything but exciting so this year…we are a no-show.
Family planning on going on NOV.17TH.Will be our 1st time attending party. Our autistic daughter is very excited about going!!! We all can’t wait!!!!!!
