A New Show Is Coming To Universal Orlando — Here’s What We Know

We may have just gotten a MAJOR update about a new show coming to Universal Orlando Resort!

Universal has been VERY busy as it finishes up its Mardi Gras celebration and continues to share information on its new Epic Universe theme park. Well, it appears Universal has no intention of slowing down as it just registered a trademark that sheds light on a brand-new nighttime show coming to the resort!

On March 20th, 2024, Universal officially applied to trademark CINESATIONAL: A SYMPHONIC SPECTACULAR — which could be the name of the new lagoon nighttime spectacular coming to Universal Studios Florida later this year.

The application also includes goods and services, such as live show performances, live performances by balloon artists and stilt walkers, live laser shows, and live music shows.

The new show will replace “Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration”, which was discontinued last year. “Cinematic Celebration” debuted in 2018 and featured projected scenes onto water from popular Universal IPs such as Jurassic World, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Transformers, Despicable Me, and Harry Potter.

As of now, no premiere date has been announced for the new show but it is expected to play later this year.
