Why Your Nights Will Be DIFFERENT at Universal Orlando Now

All good things must come to an end, right?

We’ve experienced some of the awesome perks that come with being an Annual Passholder during Mardi Gras, and it was recently announced that some changes would be coming to the park. And speaking of changes, a BIG one has just taken place — one of Universal Orlando’s nighttime shows is no more.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Universal has pulled the plug on its nighttime spectacular “Cinematic Celebration.” This show was set to music and featured scenes from Jurassic World, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Transformers, Despicable Me, the Harry Potter series, and others projected onto water.

This show debuted in the summer of 2018 and will be replaced by another, currently unidentified, nighttime show. This joins the already long list of attractions that have already closed earlier this year.
