ALERT! Brightline Train Plans to Increase Ridership to Disney World!

Well, that’s exactly what you can do on the Brightline train! Brightline operates high-speed trains that can get you between points in South Florida and Orlando at a very quick pace. We tried out the Brightline train and found it to be very comfortable, fast, and affordable. And now we have some news for Orlando riders!

Brightline added routes between Orlando and South Florida in the fall of 2023, and it appears that it has become a popular way to travel, especially between Miami.

It appears that trips between Orlando and Miami are so popular, that the train company needs to increase its train capacity to accommodate more travelers. According to the Orlando Business Journal, they will be adding more passenger train cars between the two stations. Currently, spokesperson Ben Porritt shared that there are 20 train coaches on order, and they will arrive between 2024 and 2025.

The additional cars may add up to 50,000 more passengers to the train’s ridership. They have also had to increase the number of round-trips from six when they first started to 16 trips as of December. This means that if you’re in Miami, you’ll have an even better chance of getting to Disney World on the Brightline train!

Brightline is also hoping to add additional stations at Stuart and Cocoa with routes between them and Orlando. So, if you’re hoping to hit the beach from Orlando, you may soon have a fast way to get there!
