We dream about Disney food. Don’t you?

If you’ve been with us for a while, you know that food really is the name of the game and there might not be a better foodie haven than EPCOT. Since there are so many amazing places to eat all around the World Showcase, we thought we’d help narrow things down for you to one category and one pavilion. Let’s talk about some of the snacks you absolutely must try when you’re at the Mexico Pavilion!
Let’s waste no time and dive right in!
Margaritas
Margaritas are snacks, right? (Just asking for a friend). Seriously though, the Mexico Pavilion is home to some GREAT margaritas and some small bites. While the “better” drinks can be found at La Cava del Tequila (which is inside the pyramid), some of the best margaritas can be found at Choza de Margarita.

You’ll find all kinds of flavors from the signature margaritas (on the rocks) to the frozen margaritas and more. The signature margs typically run between $17-19 and the frozen margs from $13-$15.

You can’t go wrong with any choice you make here!

Speaking of the “more” that’s available here, let’s talk about the next snack.
Empanada de Barbacoa
If you’re stopping at Choza de Margarita and feeling a little “hangry”, you need to fill up with some empanadas. The Empanada de Barbacoa is a plate of Empanadas filled with Barbacoa Beef, topped with Chipotle Sauce, Crema Mexicana, and Queso Fresco, and it’s served with a side of Corn Esquites. It goes for $13.

It’s tasty, it’s filling, and it’s perfect to share if you’re hoping for a lighter snack, or great to eat alone if you want something more filling. It’s one of our favorite quick options if we’re dining in Mexico.
Chips and Guacamole
Next up is a snack you can find just about anywhere in the Mexico Pavilion, but at La Cava del Tequila, you can have some of the best chips and guacamole.

This is seriously a staple snack. For this last one, let’s go for a sweeter snack.
Churro Sundae
While we’re in the Mexico Pavilion, let’s stop by La Cantina de San Angel for a Churro Sundae (yes you heard us correctly)!

The sundae is $7.99 and it consists of caramel and vanilla swirl soft serve (you can choose one or both) with caramel sauce, mini churros, and red, white, and green sprinkles. You can also add as much chocolate sauce as your heart desires!

The caramel and vanilla soft serve is creamy and delicious and the caramel sauce is gooey giving the perfect boost of extra caramel flavor. The cinnamon sugar coating on the churros is quite tasty, and the sprinkles add a nice extra texture.

Overall, if you love caramel and churros, this is going to be your go-to snack from now on!
We hope this gives you an idea of the best options you can get the next time you visit Disney World.
