The My Disney Experience app (A.K.A. the Disney World app) can be an extremely valuable tool when it comes to planning your vacation, and even more valuable once you’re actually in the parks!
Recently, Disney has been rolling out updates to the app that make things a little bit easier for folks preparing for their trips. It looks like yet another change has been made to My Disney Experience, and we think you’re going to love it!
The My Disney Experience app is a planning tool that takes a whole bunch of different features and puts them right into the palm of your hand. On the app, you can make dining reservations, scan into the parks, purchase souvenirs in the parks, Mobile Order food, check wait times, see where you are in the parks, and it can even be your room key.
It’s a great resource, and Disney has just made some changes that make it even easier to use! We spotted a few updates that make the app more user-friendly and a bit more intuitive. For example, the main “hamburger” (three lines on the bottom right) menu screen has been condensed from 12 tiles to just 6.
A few of the information that was featured in some of the now-removed blocks instead appears in list form under different qualifying headers, like Disney PhotoPass, Getting Around, and even Plan Your Next Visit.
There are also a few more features now listed directly under the tiles so you don’t have to click through those to get the information you need. Essentially, Disney has made the app more user-friendly based on the information people are likely to need and use most often.
In addition to these updates, Disney is also rolling out some changes to how you make dining reservations in Disney World and Disneyland. On both websites and apps for these parks, you will soon be able to view multiple days of dining availability at once!
