Feet don’t fail us now — Mardi Gras is in full swing at Universal Orlando!

The celebration kicks off several weeks of great food booths, exclusive merch, a full concert lineup featuring popular artists, and even an interactive parade (complete with beads to catch) happening nightly throughout the event. But one of our favorite things to come within the most recent years is the seasonal-themed tribute store. Let’s take a look at what’s inside!
This year’s tribute store is located where the old Prop Store was in the Hollywood section of the park. This is where some of the tribute stores are held (when they’re not located near Revenge of the Mummy in the New York section of the park).
The entrance resembles a shipyard, offering River Cruises and donning a port entrance alongside various other shipping crates and things.
As you walk inside, the store is made of several themed rooms. The first room you come to is the fictional Mississippi River Steamboat, P.S. Songbird that met its demise. The P.S. Songbird room is the first introduction to the Tribute Store storyline and Mardi Gras 2024 merchandise!
With velvet curtains and props resembling luggage, it’s easy to see the luxury that passengers of the P.S. Songbird experienced while onboard. The P.S. Songbird room features merchandise nestled in pristine white displays lined with the same velvet curtains seen in the beginning of the store’s first room.

The second room finds guests thrust into the ballroom of the P.S. Songbird, now decrepit and run down, representing the downfall of the ship.

As you make your way through the store you will get to see remnants of what was once a bustling ballroom.
Just as you think you’re making your way deeper into the ship, you’re instead transported into the center of the action in the Bayou!
Projections on the floor dance around and simulate rain, water, and even King Croc, so be careful where you step!
The artfully crafted shipwrecks are scattered throughout this room, housing merchandise and even a small snack stand inside filled with treats and candies to enjoy!

The final room of the Tribute Store represents the crossover from the spirit realm to the mortal realm, mixing skeletons and illuminated spirits to further push this narrative.
Certainly can’t forget about the Mardi Gras merchandise either!
