Disneyland Resort is celebrating big time!
Right now, at Disney California Adventure, you can celebrate Lunar New Year with tons of new merchandise, food, entertainment, and so much more. If you can’t get enough of the gorgeous decorations all around the park, here’s why you need to head over to this specific hotel!
Over at the Grand Californian Hotel, there’s an INCREDIBLE Lunar New Year display going on! The moment you walk into the lobby, you’ll notice the giant 80-foot long dragon kite hanging from the ceiling.
Since this year is the Year of The Dragon, this is the perfect addition. Look closely for the beautiful details on this kite, like the blossoms to represent the rebirth of spring. You’ll also find many different statues of dolls wearing traditional attire for the celebration.

And we can’t forget about the live entertainment you’ll be able to see on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 4PM, 5:30PM, 6:30PM, and 7:30PM. Plus, you can experience Storytime with Mulan on Mondays and Saturdays at 1PM and 2PM. We have a feeling Mulan knows some EPIC stories.
