Christmas Is Officially GONE in Three Disney World Parks

It’s January 9th which is a BIG day in Disney World!

Magic Kingdom

Lots of changes have come to parks today, but we weren’t ready for this big update! No, we’re not talking about park passes, park hopping, or the dining plan. This new update has left us rather sad.

We first stepped into Magic Kingdom this morning to check out the new changes to the park rules such as not needing a reservation for date-based tickets, park hopping, and the dining plan.

But when we stepped inside the park, we were immediately caught off guard. The Christmas tree was GONE!

Where is the Christmas tree?

All of the holiday decorations had come down overnight. We realized it was time, but we didn’t even get to say goodbye!

Where are all the pretty holiday decorations?

We later park-hopped to Disney’s Hollywood Studios (before 2PM, because we can do that now!) and noticed the same thing over there!

The tree and decorations have clearly gone extinct.

Gertie’s hat is gone!

It’s simply amazing how quickly Disney can tear down all those decorations. Simply overnight the parks went from jolly to normal. But it wasn’t just two parks, nope — EPCOT was also missing its holiday decor, too!

And the tree is gone in EPCOT too!

It is probably safe to say that Christmas is headed out the door. This morning Animal Kingdom still had its tree up (and Christmas music playing!), but we won’t be surprised if it also disappears soon. When Disney is ready to change things up, they move almost as fast as Dash (see The Incredibles)!

We’ll be keeping our eyes open for more changes, so keep following AllEars for more updates!
