Disney has been renovating a lot of their hotels recently.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has been getting an update with new rooms. New Disney Vacation Club (DVC) cabins are coming to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is getting a completely new DVC building, set to open sometime in 2024. With so many projects going on at the moment, it can feel like there is construction everywhere in Disney World, but one hotel’s transformation is finally complete!
Room refurbishments started at the villas at Disney’s Beach Club Resort earlier this year, and the hotel has been getting a bit of a facelift. The new rooms have a beachy theme with nods to Donald Duck throughout, and the look has been carried through to the lobby and other areas of the resort.

The refurbishment was scheduled to take place through late fall, 2023. Today, we got confirmation that the work is complete!

While the rooms didn’t get a complete overhaul (much of the hard furniture has stayed), the new decor brought a more updated look to the hotel, with brighter upholstery, glass shower doors, and fun character artwork on the walls.

There are still a lot of hotel projects that Disney is in the middle of, but it’s nice to know one project is complete. We’ll keep bringing you all the latest Disney news, so stay tuned to AllEars for more!
