EPCOT just debuted a ton of changes in the park!
World Celebration has officially opened up with a new garden area, the new Walt Disney statue, new character meet and greet spots, and more. But at night, this new park area turns into a must-see — the glowing sidewalks are back!
Near Spaceship Earth, there used to be fiber optic sidewalks with cool designs like this.
For the EPCOT Transformation, Imagineers took that idea and created NEW glowing sidewalks!

If you weren’t already planning to go to EPCOT at night to see Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana in its best form, now you have another reason to go later.
The lights even synchronize with the Spaceship Earth light show!

We’re still waiting for CommuniCore Hall and Plaza to open but there is currently no date for that. However, Disney said the big transformation is set to be complete by the end of 2023.
