Tell the guards to open up the gates! Remember how excited Anna felt during Elsa’s coronation? (Before all the ice magic chaos, that is….) Well, that’s exactly how we felt as we visited the grand opening of Hong Kong Disneyland’s World of Frozen!

We’ve been following along with this major project every step of the way, and now, construction on World of Frozen is complete, and Hong Kong Disneyland is ready to welcome guests to Arendelle!
Quincy and Emma were lucky enough to get a special preview of World of Frozen ahead of its grand opening on November 20th, 2023. Now, we’re here to show you a taste of what you can expect from this new land!
Merchandise
Like any new Disney spot, we found LOTS of exclusive new merchandise. When we say a lot, we mean it! Here’s a sampling of the merchandise we got to preview.

You can buy Frozen-themed headbands, Minnie ears, scarves, and more! We have a feeling those character headbands will be popular.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate this clock?! It looks like it came straight out of Arendelle.

Here’s a peek inside one of the shops! There are enough kitchenware items to stock your entire home! (Just pack LOTS of bubble wrap)

World of Frozen has new pins, plushes, accessories, homeware items, and much more! Over at the Northern Delights Candy Shop, we found plenty of sweets, too!

If you’re looking for small souvenirs that will fit in your luggage, you might want to check out the selection of magnets and ornaments!

Most of the merchandise currently available in World of Frozen is exclusive to the location, so be sure to stock up — you won’t be able to find it anywhere else!
Food
We also got to preview the new snacks, treats, and food coming to World of Frozen! Look out for a quick-service restaurant, a candy store, and a food stand!

First, let’s talk about some of the food coming to the Golden Crocus Inn. This spot will serve a Village Chicken Roll stuffed with ham and cheese…

…a Forest Mushroom Pasta (the vegetarian option)…

…a Braised Lamb Shank with potatoes, vegetables, and beer gravy…

…and even a Seafood Medley with potatoes and cream sauce.

Over at the Northern Delights candy store, guests can try a variety of desserts!

We spotted some adorable Olaf Muffins…

…and even some fondue!

The real stars of the show here were the Summer Snow Day soft Serve…

…and the Coronation Sundae. This one had a floral taste from the Elderflower slushy under the soft serve, and we thought it was nice and sweet.

Stay tuned for our full review of all the new eats and treats we tried around World of Frozen! In the meantime, we’ve got even MORE World of Frozen coverage here at AllEars!

Disclosure: We were invited by Disney to attend a World of Frozen media event. This did not affect our reporting of the event — our opinions are our own.
Robert Niles from Theme Park Insider was there too, and I saw Quincy and Emma in his videos.
