This Could Be the BEST Time to Score CHEAP Flights to Disney World!

If you’re looking to book cheap flights to Florida, now may be your chance!

Southwest Airlines

As the year 2023 begins winding down and the 4th quarter winds down for many airline companies, more and more airplane seats need to be filled. This might lead to some cheap seats you can take advantage of before the end of the year!

Airline companies are working hard right now to fill up their seats. And this year, they have even more seats to fill. According to CNBC, “Airlines have a record 260 million seats to fill this quarter.” So, what’s their solution? Airlines are offering some ultra-low fares!

Orlando International Airport

We’ve seen some major airline deals lately. In early October, Southwest Airlines offered $29 one-way fares for flights from November 29th to February 15th, 2023. That’s peak travel season, too!

This is a big year for travel. CNBC reports that airlines have scheduled a record 259.8 million seats for domestic flights in the fourth quarter. There are still a lot of seats to fill, leading to some steep discounts on flights across the board.

That said, these sales tend to go quickly (who doesn’t want cheap airfare?), and we often see major travel dates and times “blocked out” of those major discounts. If you want to take advantage of those deals, you must act fast.

So far this quarter, we’ve seen major airlines like JetBlue Airways, Spirit Airlines, and Frontier Airlines drop their fares anywhere from 12% to 32% compared to a year ago.  Frontier Airlines explained fares averaged just over $39 in the last quarter, per CNBC.

That said, airlines are still expecting to carry a lot more passengers this year. Delta Air Lines, for example, expects to carry anywhere from 6.2 million to 6.4 million passengers between November 17th and November 28th. During that same period last year, the airline carried 5.7 million in 2022 and 6.25 million in 2019.

We can’t promise this trend will continue, so if you’re looking for a good deal, you might want to act fast and keep your eyes out for new promotions. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest airline news, so stay tuned for more.
