The wait is almost over!

After a multi-year wait that started as a refurbishment and then developed into a total overhaul and retheming, a popular Disneyland attraction is less than two weeks from re-opening! With that said, some people will get to experience the newly reimagined attraction earlier than the general public.

The Adventureland Treehouse is slated to open on November 10th, but Magic Key Pass Holders can get early access to the attraction a day before on November 9th, according to Scott Gustin on X.

The preview is available for an eight-hour window, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Disneyland. Participants will need a wristband, which they can receive at a check-in location near Rivers of America.  It’s important to note that there is only one entry per Magic Key Holder, so if you’re looking to do repeat walkthroughs you’ll have to come back another day.

The treehouse first opened as The Swiss Family Treehouse in 1962 and was based on the 1960 film Swiss Family Robinson. In 1999, it was closed and Disney Imagineers quickly rethemed it to Tarzan’s Treehouse in a matter of months. It maintained this theme until 2021 when it was closed for refurbishment.

Instead of a short retheme, the change has taken over two years to complete. Now, the treehouse will be an ode to the past, as it will once again be themed after Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson. We can’t wait to walk through and see all the hard work and changes!
