Psst! Disney Just Revealed the Princess Half Marathon Weekend Race Medals

Gather your sneakers, tie up your laces, and get set…we’ve got the news you’ve been waiting for!

We’re still eagerly anticipating the upcoming Wine & Dine and holiday-themed races later this year but that didn’t stand in Disney’s way of giving us a sneak peek at the medals for one of the most anticipated race weekends of 2024.

runDisney has just revealed the lineup of heroic medals for the upcoming 2024 runDisney Princess Half Marathon races that will kick off February 22nd through the 26th, 2024. Each leg of the race earns a specific princess medal upon completion and special challenge medals are available to those that qualify. This coming event is sponsored by Corkcicle and celebrates the resilience and courage of each runner as they complete multiple races run around the Disney World parks and hotels.

Ariel from The Little Mermaid graces the 5K race medal. She’s pictured in the pink dress that might be familiar to those who remember her time on land before she was able to speak. Prince Eric’s castle can be seen behind her as she’s running her own course.

You might find you’ve been running the best race ever when you complete the 10K race! This medal features Rapunzel running away from her tower…I mean, who could blame her? But she does look stunning against that yellow flower that lines the outside of the medal!

The next race to be completed is the Half Marathon race with Tiana asking you to dig a little deeper and grab that medal! Tiana’s pictured against the green of the lily flower with the Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend motif in the center flanked with Louis blowing his horn in celebration — marking the completion of your 13.1-mile accomplishment.

Those who are really up for the challenge could earn the Fairy Tale Challenge medal awarded to those who complete all three of the weekend’s races. This year’s medal features a snowflake design from our favorite Frozen sisters, Elsa and Anna with their pal, Olaf by their side. This medal commemorates your accomplished total of 19.3 miles…and hopefully the icy blast of the nearest air conditioner!
