Disney Cast Members Have Reached a HUGE Milestone

Cast Members…They’re what make the magic possible.

We love Cast Members!

It’s safe to assume that all of us have likely had a magical moment or interaction with a Disney Cast Member in some way or another. Whether they selected you out of a crowd to skip the line for an attraction, gifted you a piece of merchandise, or simply helped you out with the Disney World app, you can count on them to make the magic even more…well…magical. Some time ago, Disney implemented Mobile Cast Compliments, where Disney Parks visitors can share details about a great experience they had with a Cast Member via the Disney mobile app. And now Cast Members have hit a HUGE milestone.

Disney Cast Members just reached a NEW milestone as the one millionth Cast Compliment was issued! To celebrate, Disney executives and leaders hand-delivered special recognitions to Cast Members who’d received the highest amount of Cast Compliments.

If you’ve never given a Cast Compliment, we highly suggest doing so! It can truly make a huge difference in a Cast Member’s day. First, you’ll enter the Disney World or Disneyland app. Then, you’ll click on the three lines on the bottom right of the screen. Once the menu comes up, scroll to the bottom and you’ll find the “Cast Compliment” option!

From there, it’ll have you answer a few questions so that they can locate the Cast Member that made a difference in your Disney day. The most important thing (to ensure the Cast Member that impacted you is recognized) is that you input their name and hometown or college.
