Ever sit down after a long day and spend hours scrolling through trailers and potential options of what to watch on the streaming service(s) you subscribe to only to then realize you spent the whole time deciding what to watch and now it’s time to go to sleep? No? Just us? Well then… 😂

If you’re a Disney+ subscriber, then you already know there are a LOT of things to pick from on the service with even more new things on the way. Allow us to take a little bit of the planning stress off your shoulders though. We’ve got some release dates for great things you might want to watch on Disney+ soon — mark these down in your calendars and you won’t have to scroll. You’ll know EXACTLY what to watch once they drop!
Disney has announced that they will be debuting a collection of over 20(!!) NEWLY restored Walt Disney Animation Studios classic shorts starting Friday, July 7th.

The shorts will feature everyone from Mickey and Minnie to Oswald, Donald Duck, and others! There will be classics you may have seen before along with some lesser-known titles you might not be as familiar with.
According to Disney, “Chips Ahoy, a 1956 CinemaScope short starring Donald Duck and his chipmunk rivals, will conclude the series in October.” That all leads up to the official date of the Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary on Monday, October 16th.

The restorations were led by Walt Disney Studios Restoration and Preservation team. Dorothy McKim, special projects and 2D animation producer, shared “We’re very excited to be sharing these wonderful shorts with the Disney+ audience. They have never looked or sounded better.”
So let’s get to the details — here are the restored shorts being added to Disney+ and just when they’ll each be released:
Premiering Friday, July 7th:
- The Skeleton Dance (1929)
- Building a Building (1933)
- Bath Day (1946)
- Figaro and Frankie (1947)
- Goofy Gymnastics (1949)
- Aquamania (1961)

Premiering Friday, August 11th:
- Barnyard Olympics (1932)
- Mickey’s Steam Roller (1934)
- Donald’s Nephews (1938)
- Goofy and Wilbur (1939)
- Donald’s Cousin Gus (1939)
- The Flying Jalopy (1943)

Premiering September 5th–8th:
- Trolley Troubles (1927)
- All Wet (1927)
- The Barn Dance (1929)
- Playful Pluto (1934)
- Mickey’s Kangaroo (1935)
- Merbabies (1938)
- Bone Trouble (1940)
- Pluto, Junior (1942)

Premiering Friday, October 6th:
- When the Cat’s Away (1929)
- Fiddling Around (1930)
- Camping Out (1934)
- Wynken, Blynken and Nod (1938)
- Old Macdonald Duck (1941)
- Inferior Decorator (1948)
- Chips Ahoy (1956)

Hold on you can’t even hold willow on disney+ after 6 months but you can add 20 new shows? I feel like disney+ has no idea how to run a app is this why your about to take off more shows n movies too for these movies and shows?

Yvonne, read the article before you respond. Disney+ is not adding “20 new shows.” They are adding twenty short cartoons from the Disney Vault that were all made years ago and are being restored for the streaming service. Most of them were even available on DVD previously. Anarchy? And the people who will watch them are “literally” Disney fans.
