If you’ve ever traveled to Disney from the Orlando International Airport, you know that it can get busy! In fact, you might wait in a longer line at the airport than at Disney’s most popular attractions.
Speaking of the airport, did you know that MCO recently got a brand-new terminal? Not only that, but the new Brightline train stops right there at the airport! From new lounges to new dining spots, there’s a LOT happening at the Orlando Airport, and now we’ve got another big update.
Terminal C is getting some upgrades! According to the Orlando Business Journal, The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is in the early stages of adding a pedestrian walkway and rental car lobby area to Terminal C. (The newest terminal at MCO)
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority oversees the Orlando International Airport, and the group is currently preparing to start the new project. The plans will require “a 450-foot elevated, enclosed and air-conditioned pedestrian walkway and adjacent rental car lobby” in Terminal C.
The project is set to connect Terminal C with the airport’s multi-modal facility. Eventually, The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority hopes to create a space that will feature “up to four forms of passenger rail and all forms of public and private ground transportation,” per the Orlando Business Journal.
At this time, The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority does not have an exact timeline for when this project will be completed, and the project is still in the early stages of development. We will continue to look out for updates!

Terminal C is beautiful and nice. However MCO has a HUGE PARKING DEFICIT! Even before terminal C opened, the parking garage was already filling up. Now, by 11 a.m. on a weekday, ALL GARAGES ARE FULL! You cannot keep expanding and adding flights when THERE IS NOWHERE TO PARK!!! MCO’s lack of parking is making the news it is so bad!
