  1. Price increases and the loss of many perks definitely are a major issue. The other problem is that more and more of the rehabs take away the touches that make WDW magical and are leaving resorts and stores that are so generic you could be staying anywhere. If there are no magical Disney touches and you can stay some place close by for much less, why wouldn’t you.

  2. Sadly, I agree. We have been visiting 2-3 times a year since 2006. My child has grown up in the parks. What a tremendous difference in the past 17 years. So many upgrades (new hotels, nee restaurants, new attractions and rides) but the downgrading has overshadowed it. We lost extra magic hours, fast pass, food plan, magical express, prices keep going up. There has been a slip in the Disney quality of the parks and hotels as well. I understand the world has changed, covid threw it all into a tail spin. I get inflation. The difficulty to find good staff. Disney can’t be insulated from it. After all, they are a “business”… although I think we forget that, because we have such a strong emotional attachment to the brand. In 2023, I’d love to see the return of some of what we have lost, and a leveling out of pricing. I love Disney. Please help us all continue to be able to come with our families.

  3. Was there the end of August, my 14th visit and must agree with price increases but also the experience has gone down hill. The best part of our 6 night stay was the hotel and hotel staff, they made the trip worthwhile.

  4. To me the biggest red flag is the former CEO using Disney World as a cash cow to support his failing “baby” Disney+. Poor management at its finest. That it went on so long means someone was asleep at the wheel.

Property maintenance has been in decline for at least a decade. Hotel rooms are generic now rather than nicely themed (Beach Club or Yacht Club for example).

  5. We r annual pass holders who live 35 minutes from Disney world.Do to price increases we have cut back to once a week and more counter serve meals.

  6. All passholders are blocked out for the holidays but the top tier pass. So now my 2nd tier pass the only perk is I pay 30$ more a month to go on sat and sun smh sooo messed up.
