If you’re a family with a Disney+ subscription, you might have been enjoying one of Disney’s newest series, The Santa Clauses.

This show is a spin-off of the holiday classic The Santa Clause film franchise starring Tim Allen. But what does this show and the current cold weather have in common?

They’re both coming back for another season! Disney just announced that The Santa Clauses, which premiered this past November, has received the green light for a second season. That means we will be able to find out how Tim Allen’s character Scott is going to handle all the chaos in his life!

If you haven’t been watching, don’t read ahead! As a quick recap, Scott Calvin, the dad who accidentally became Santa Claus, has been working his jolly role for almost 30 years now. He’s at a point where it’s becoming difficult to balance his work and family lives, plus he has the added stress of losing his Santa magic because fewer and fewer people are celebrating Christmas. Scott has found a way where he may be able to retire, but should he give up something that he loves? And who will replace him as the next Santa Claus?

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait forever to find out what happens. While we don’t know exactly when the new season will premier (or even when filming will begin), we will be sure to keep you up to date on AllEars! If you’ve finished season 1 already why not head on over to Disney+ to re-watch some of the original movies?
