VIDEOS: Three NEW Villains Debut at Disney’s Oogie Boogie Bash!

Disney World isn’t the only resort celebrating Halloween in a major way.

That’s right — over in Disney California Adventure, you can find the Oogie Boogie Bash! This sold-out party is packed with festive fun, including treat trails, the Frightfully Fun Parade, and Villains Grove. And, speaking of villains, three special guests are meeting with partygoers this year!

At last year’s Oogie Boogie Bash, three new villains joined the party — Sid, Agatha, and Cruella. (You can still find them at this year’s party, too!)

And this year, another three villains joined the fun! Months ago, Disney announced that two new villains would be joining the party this season, so the third was a surprise.

First up is Mother Gothel, who was over by Grizzly River Run. She was surrounded by candles and occasionally grabbed a tiny knife (spooky). Oh, and she may ask if you’ve seen Rapunzel around, so don’t let any details slip!

The next villain was Madam Mim, who met guests over by the Hyperion Theater. She looks just as quirky as she did in The Sword in the Stone. This is one extremely rare meet and greet, so be sure to stop by her treat trail during your Oogie Boogie Bash event night!

Now, Disney provided us with hints about the addition of Mother Gothel and Madame Mim. But they decided to surprise us with the man himself…Ernesto de la Cruz! That’s right, the star from Coco (with a wicked secret) has his own treat trail tucked right next to Avengers Campus. And you guys — he even sings “Remember Me” to guests as they walk by. You don’t want to miss this experience.

As a bonus, you can meet Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle dressed up as the spooky Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus! This is a new meet and greet option this year but beware — this trio had over an hour wait time to meet when we went.

We haven’t gotten a chance to meet with these characters before , so we’re really excited about these unique meet-and-greets. The Halloween celebration isn’t limited to Disney California Adventure either — check out everything being offered at Disneyland Resort this fall season!
