We won a trip sponsored by either Alamo or Enterprise and went in 2007, our daughter was 7 at the time. It was a 5 day 4 night with air, car rental, hotel and tickets. When making arrangements they were initially putting us at Coronado. I said I was hoping we could be closer to the Magic Kingdom. She said how about the Grand Floridian? Um… YES, Boca Chica!!! We got our monorail pilots licenses and rode in the front with the “pilot”. We added 2 days at Pop Century. We did a few more character meals since we only paid for the days at Pop and the upgrade costs to add days to and make the tickets into hoppers. We got special seating for one of the parades at the MK. A magical experience.
Couldn’t find a place to enter- I could only find the BoxLunch version of this contest that closed in mid-April….
Same here was hoping to find the link for the contest too
Hi, My wife and I were planning a trip to Disney World this year to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. Now we are not! Too many changes. Especially the costs. We loved the Magic Express, fast passes, no charge for parking at the resorts, etc. etc. It seems that you need to be rich to be able to fully enjoy the parks these days. We have been to Disney several times in the past. Disney has always been pricey but we would save up so we could go every few years. For us, now unfortunately, it’s a no.
Sincerely,
David Paulin
We agree with you 100%. We will never go again costs are killing the ave. Joe. Disney would turn over in his grave.
