Actor and Disney Legend Tim Considine Has Passed Away

The group of Disney Legends is small; those bestowed with the honor have been personally recognized for their extraordinary contributions to The Walt Disney Company.

A Disney Legend recently passed away, and Disney shared a tribute to the talented actor.

Actor Tim Considine, known roles in The Shaggy Dog and The Adventures of Spin and Marty, died on Friday, March 4th, 2022. He was 81 years old.

Considine first acted in a Disney series as Spin Evans in The Adventures of Spin and Marty, which was a serial from the Mickey Mouse Club in 1955 (he later participated in two Spin and Marty sequels). In 1959, Considine starred in The Shaggy Dog alongside actor and Disney Legend Fred MacMurray.

Outside of acting, Considine enjoyed writing, photography, sports, and cars, according to D23. The actor was inducted into the group of Disney Legends in 2006.

Former Disney CEO, Bob Iger, recently shared his admiration for the actor on Twitter, saying “I’m saddened by this news. I enjoyed my interaction with Tim over the years and I was a big fan of Spin and Marty. Rest in Peace.”

The Shaggy Dog and The Adventures of Spin and Marty are available on Disney+. Our thoughts are with Tim Considine’s family and loved ones at this time. He will be deeply missed.
