However, other parts of the United States have had some pretty big weather shifts and already encountered winter storms in 2022. Today, a massive storm is wreaking havoc on air travel in and out of Central Florida.

According to Click Orlando, a major winter storm is currently stretching across the central United States and bringing along freezing temperatures, rain, snow, and freezing rain. Because of these weather problems, over 100 flights have been canceled that were scheduled to fly into the Orlando International Airport.

Many other flights have been delayed going in and out of the airport at this time, and many states are under winter storm watches or warnings. Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan all got freezing rain, sleet, or snow on Wednesday morning. If you’ve got a flight planned to or from any of these areas, you may want to check on its status.
