Happy holidays, AllEars readers! It’s time to put up the decorations and start eating those delicious holiday treats at Disney World! But what if you can’t make it to the parks for the holidays?
Today, we’re looking at seven Disney recipes that’ll help you get your holiday sugar fix!
Pecan Maple Bark
First up is the Pecan Maple Bark from the Popcorn Cart in EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion! This one is a delicious candy bark with nuts, maple sugar, and chocolate.
This one does take a little bit of skill but it’s SO rewarding! Beware: once you make one batch, you’ll be addicted.
Banana Bread Pudding
A classic holiday dessert is decadent bread pudding! This recipe for the Banana Bread Pudding from Olivia’s Cafe features scratch-made banana bread, a rum sauce, and vanilla ice cream.
If you’re familiar with making banana bread, bread pudding, and sauces, this will be easy as pie… er, bread pudding!
Carrot Cake Cookie
The Carrot Cake Cookie at Trolley Car Café in Hollywood Studios is a fan-favorite treat, and now you can make it at home to get your sugar fix! This one has two carrot cake “cookies” with buttercream in between.
This recipe is a quick one, especially since you can use cake mix for the cookies! If you’re familiar with making buttercream, this one will be a breeze.
Kringle “Norwegian Pretzel”
Now, this one is a no-brainer for a holiday list: it’s got Kringle in the name! This Norwegian Pretzel from Kringla Og Bakeri Café at EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion features raisins, almonds, and icing.
This one is a bit more involved, but never fear! Pretzel-making is a lot less intimidating than it seems.
Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate Cookie
What are the holidays without cookies? This Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate Cookie is a definite crowd-pleaser and features chocolate-on-chocolate deliciousness!
Like many other cookie recipes, this one is pretty simple and very rewarding. I mean, who doesn’t love warm gooey cookies?
Boma’s Zebra Domes are a massively popular Disney World treat, and for good reason! These chocolatey treats are absolutely delicious and filled with Amarula cream mousse.
Now, you will have to make mousse for this recipe, so keep in mind that this one is pretty involved and requires some skill!
The Grey Stuff
Just like the song says, try the Grey Stuff, it’s delicious! This Be Our Guest dessert, featuring a chocolate cookie-flavored whipped pudding, definitely lives up to the hype.
This one is a pretty simple recipe and super delicious. It does take a little bit of time (you have to let it cool) and some supplies (you’ll need a food processor or blender), but it’s a fun treat that’s perfect for anyone in need of a sugar fix!
